Design Atrium Tokyo is an exhibition which stimulates all the people who senses design aesthetic sensibility in a new style.
In 2016, the exhibition will be "Workshop fair" - drawing a distinction from a conventional trade fair that shows a so-called product, Design Atrium Tokyo will capture "works" in three viewpoints and focus on "Monozukuri stories" passing on such as a philosophy and an intention behind creations.
Designer's thoughts and contemplation, the skill and enthusiasm of studios and factories to actualize that designer's idea, and craftsman's attitude towards works... Scenes and background of products and working process which generally being concealed will be revealed in this exhibition.
Leif.designpark will showcase series of furniture from our "Sai" brand born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
Visit various kind of workshops at Design Atrium Tokyo 2016, the exhibition offers to find out affinities among human, goods and living to broaden positive cycle of quality life.

「Design Atrium Tokyo」は、デザインを意識する全ての人たちに向けた新しいカタチのエキシビションです。
今年のテーマは「シゴトバ見本市」です。「シゴト」を三つの視点で捉え、いわゆる製品を紹介する従来の展示会とは一線を画し、そこに込められた想いや哲学など、「モノづくりのストーリー」を伝える展示空間を中心に展開します。デザイナーの頭の中やそれをカタチにする工房・工場の技術と熱意、職人が仕事と向き合う姿勢や息づかいなど、普段は目にすることのない製品の背景にスポットをあて、制作過程とともにそのストーリーを一連の流れのなかで紹介します。本展を通してさまざまな形のシゴトバに触れることで、ひと、もの、暮らしの親和性を知り、感性を刺激したり、共感したり、美しい暮らしの好循環が広がるような提案をします。
リーフデザインパークは旭川発の家具ブランド「Sai」シリーズを展示します。皆様お誘いの上是非ご来場ください。
