GO CLASS
(GO = a Japanese traditional board game of capturing territory)
Leif.designpark supported the revitalization of around Tokuyama station in Shunan city, Yamaguchi, taking the initiative in creating an GO class that is like a salon always welcomes all from children to elderly people.
To enhance GO more friendly and easily accessible, which tends to have a more formal image, we reconsidered and designed the GO tools like a board and a stone container to more pop impression. Not only the tools, we worked on deign in total like the class logo, the interior and space design.

山口県周南市の徳山駅前の再開発に先駆けて地元の有志が地域活性プロジェクトの一環として子供からお年寄りまでが気軽に集える囲碁教室を発案し、それに伴うデザインを担当しました。
少々固いイメージを持たれがちな囲碁を、より親しみやすいものとするために、囲碁盤や碁笥(碁石を収納する碁笥と呼ばれる小筒)といった囲碁を行う道具を見つめ直し、ポップな印象を強く押し出す事を意識しました。
また道具だけでなく、教室のロゴデザイン、家具コーディネートや空間の仕上げ材の選定など施設のハード面のトータルデザインを手がけました。
