We designed the shop ORGANIC LOCKER, a green grocer–cafe serving menu items and selling pesticide-free vegetables.
The premises is on street-level facing Asakusa-dori, a major road that linking Asakusa and Tokyo Sky Tree that is popular with international tourists. We thus designed the store to have a wide frontage to make entry comfortable.
The front space of the store is installed with cypress lockers for unmanned sales of pesticide-free vegetables. Customers are able to purchase vegetables that are displayed like artworks. A flat kitchen counter that functions as a large kitchen has been installed in the center of the store to serve dishes prepared from pesticide-free vegetables.
The chairs and tables in the dining area are fitted with indirect lighting under the table tops and seating. Turned into lighting, the furniture thus plays a part in creating the space.

無農薬野菜の販売と、料理を提供する八百屋カフェ「ORGANIC LOCKER（オーガニック ロッカー）」の店舗デザインを担当しました。
海外からの観光客も多い浅草から東京スカイツリーまでのルートである浅草通りに面した路面店であることから、店舗の間口を大きく広げ、店舗内へ入りやすくなるような計画としました。
店内の前面スペースには、無農薬野菜の無人販売用ヒノキ材ロッカーを設置し、アートのようにディスプレイされた野菜を購入することができ、無農薬野菜を使った料理を提供できるように、店内中央にはフラットなキッチンカウンターを設け、大きな台所として機能しています。
また、飲食スペースのチェアやテーブルは、天板及び座面下に間接照明を配置し、家具が照明になることで家具自体で空間を演出する一翼を担っています。
